You must ensure that certain requirements are met before executing the SVM Disaster Recovery (DR) workflow pack.
You must be a cluster administrator for executing this workflow pack.
- Your system must be running clustered Data ONTAP 8.3.1 or later.
Refer to the Why you should use the SVM DR workflow pack section for workflow compatibility with Data ONTAP.
- You must have installed OnCommand Workflow Automation (WFA) 4.0 or later.
http://automationstore.netapp.com/pack-list.shtml
- You must have installed any version of OnCommand Unified Manager from 7.0 through 9.5 or Active IQ Unified Manager 9.6 or later.
- You must have added any version of OnCommand Unified Manager from 7.0 through 9.5 or Active IQ Unified Manager 9.6 or later as a data source in WFA and obtained the latest Unified Manager data.
Note: Because Oncommand Unified Manager 7.0 is not acquiring the SnapMirror protected volume attribute, you can acquire the data by using the steps provided in the
Executing the SVM DR workflow pack section.
- You must run the Active IQ Unified Manager DataCollector File Manager workflow.
- The source clusters and the destination clusters must be peered.
- The destination cluster must have a data aggregate.
- You must have installed the SnapMirror and SnapVault licenses on the source clusters and the destination clusters.
- The destination SVM states should be "running" before configuring the protocols.
The Fibre Channel Protocol (FCP) adapters in the cluster must have been configured as target.
- You must have installed the appropriate protocol license such as Common Internet File System (CIFS), Network File System (NFS), Fibre Channel Protocol (FCP), or Internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI).
-
The Create Snapshot Table workflow must be executed before executing the Cloning of SVM DR Volumes workflow.
The Snapshot name is mandatory for the DP volume and Flexclone licenses must be enabled.
- The source clusters and the destination clusters must be set up and the cluster time must be synchronized with a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server.
- You must have manually peered similar SVM names to run the workflows.
