This workflow adds MongoDB host details to the Data Center Group.
1. You must be running WFA 4.1 or later.
2. You must be running ONTAP 9.1 or later.
3. You must have added the credentials of all the storage systems to be used.
4. You must have added the credentials of all the MongoDB hosts to be used.
5. You must have installed the MongoDB core package on all the hosts to be used as MongoDB nodes.
6. You must have configured the MongoDB host either with Fibre Channel (FC) or with iSCSI.
To execute this workflow, provide the required information in the following fields:
1. Data Center Group
2. Server Host Detail
You can select the data center group name for adding the MongoDB host details.
· Data Center Group Name* [Mandatory]: Create or select an existing data center group name.
Note: The drop-down menu shows the existing data center group names.
You can provide the details for adding the server host to the Data Center Group.
· Host name* [Mandatory]: Type the name of the MongoDB host.
· Host IP* [Mandatory]: Type the IP address of the MongoDB host.
· Host Port* [Mandatory]: Type the port number on which the MongoDB instance is running.
· Server Type* [Mandatory]: From the drop-down menu, select the MongoDB server type to be added to the Data Center Group.
· Server Protocol Type* [Mandatory]: From the drop-down menu, select the MongoDB server protocol type.
Note:
a) If you select the option ‘FC’ as server protocol type, then the ‘FC WWPN’ field is enabled.
b) If you select the option ‘iSCSI’ as server protocol type, then the ‘iSCSI Initiator Name’ field is enabled.
· ISCSI Initiator Name* [Mandatory]: Type the iSCSI initiator name of the MongoDB host.
· FC WWPN* [Mandatory]: Type the MongoDB host FC worldwide port name (WWPN).
This workflow results in adding the MongoDB host details to the Data Center Group.
