Active IQ Unified Manager DataCollector File Manager workflow

The Active IQ Unified Manager DataCollector File Manager workflow places the DataCollector configuration files in the appropriate operating system folders for Active IQ Unified Manager (formerly OnCommand Unified Manager).

You must place the DataCollector configuration files in the server where the OnCommand Workflow Automation (WFA) server is installed. After the workflow is executed, you must reset the scheme and acquire the datasource from WFA. The configuration file can be accessed from:

Steps

  1. Log in to WFA by providing the necessary credentials.
  2. Click Portal > Data Protection.
  3. Select the workflow that you want to execute.
    The Execute Workflow Active IQ Unified Manager DataCollector file manager dialog box is displayed.
  4. Select the required action.
  5. Provide the required details for the action selected.
    If you want to… Then…
    Add Enter the following details:
    • DataCollector configuration file path
    • Active IQ Unified Manager host name or IP address
    • Active IQ Unified Manager user name and password
    Delete Enter the following details:
    • DataCollector configuration file name
    • Active IQ Unified Manager host name or IP address
    • Active IQ Unified Manageruser name
    List Enter the following details:
    • Active IQ Unified Manager host name or IP address
    • Active IQ Unified Manager user name
  6. Optional: Click Preview to validate your workflow before executing it.
  7. Click Execute.
    You can also schedule the execution of the workflow at a later date and time by selecting the Choose Date and Time for Execution check box.
  8. Rediscover the clusters in Active IQ Unified Manager.
  9. Reset the scheme.
  10. Acquire the datasource from WFA.
