The Unified Manager DataCollector file manager workflow places the DataCollector configuration files in the appropriate operating system folders for OnCommand Unified Manager.

The configuration file can be accessed from here. You must place the DataCollector configuration files in the server where OnCommand Workflow Automation (WFA) server is installed. After the workflow is executed, you must reset the scheme and must acquire datasource from WFA.

Steps

  1. Log in to WFA by providing the necessary credentials.
  2. Click Portal > Data Protection.
  3. Click the workflow you want to execute.
    The Execute Workflow 'Unified Manager DataCollector file manager' dialog box is displayed.
  4. Select the required action.
  5. Provide the required details as per the action selected.
    If you want to… Then…
    Add Enter the following:
    • DataCollector configuration file path
    • Unified Manager hostname or IP
    • Unified Manager username and password
    Delete Enter the following:
    • DataCollector configuration file name
    • Unified Manager hostname or IP
    • Unified Manager username
    List Enter the following:
    • Unified Manager hostname or IP
    • Unified Manager username
  6. Optional: Click Preview to validate your workflow before executing it.
  7. Click Execute.
    You can also schedule the workflow for execution at a later date and time by selecting the Choose Date and Time for Execution check box.
