Add Storage Virtual Machine Details

Goal

This workflow adds the Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) details to the Data Center Group.

1. You must be running WFA 4.1 or later.

2. You must be running ONTAP 9.1 or later.

3. You must have added the credentials of the storage systems to WFA.

4. You must have the SVM available with the management LIF.

5. Ensure that either Fibre Channel (FC) or iSCSI logical interface is available on the SVM.

6. You must have added the list of aggregates to an SVM.

7. Ensure that the SVM is enabled for communication either with FC or with iSCSI.

To execute this workflow, provide the required information in the following fields:

1. Data Center Group Name

2. Storage Virtual Machine Details

You can select the data center group name for adding the storage virtual machine details.

· Data Center Group Name* [Mandatory]: From the drop-down menu, select an existing data center group name.

You can provide the details for adding the storage virtual machine to the Data Center Group.

· Storage Virtual Machine Name* [Mandatory]: Type the name of an SVM to add to the Data Center Group.

· Storage Virtual Machine Management IP* [Mandatory]: Type the management IP address of an SVM, which is to be added to the Data Center Group.

This workflow results in adding the storage virtual machine details to the Data Center Group.
