This document outlines the steps to configure the MySQL 2.0 plug-in for SnapCenter Server.
1) Plug-in Upload: Upload the MySQL.zip package to SnapCenter Server during the Add/Modify host workflow.
2) Add/Modify host: Add the MySQL host and select the MySQL 2.0 plug-in to push onto host.
SnapCenter 4.2 allows MySQL plug-in to auto-discover the application paths and storage associated with the Application. Now users are not allowed to add MySQL resources manually.
3) Auto-discovery of plugin can be triggered in the following ways:
By Add/Modify host.
By `Refresh Resources’ button click on top right corner of resources page
As part of Auto-discovery MySQL active instances get discovered and added as resources. Following naming convention as “mysqld_” like mysqld_3306. Here the port number is the port on which that specific mysqld instance is running.
For resources which are already discovered, the user needs to configure credentials by using the "Configure Credential" button on the top of the page or by using Command-let.

MYSQL_STATUS_SLEEP_TIME: Time to wait (in seconds) to verify the mysql service status after starting MySQL service during restore. The Default value is 5 sec.
MYSQL_STATUS_VERIFY_ATTEMPTS: Number of attempts to be made to verify the status of MySQL instance as running. If it is not found as running within the provided limit then the workflow will be failed. The Default value is 5.
