Following are the steps to configure the MongoDB plug-in in SnapCenter Server:
1) Add MongoDB host.
2) Select the MongoDB plug-in to upload.
3) Upload MongoDB.zip package to SnapCenter Server during add or modify host workflow.
MongoDB plug-in is installed.
4) Perform the following steps to add resources:
i) For database resource type, resource name should be the same as the Database name present on the host.
ii) RunAs account should be added with MongoDB/LDAP username and password.
iii) Storage Footprint: Resource should contain storage details of all volumes/luns contained in it.
iv) Resource Settings:
a) MONGODB_APP_SERVER=(For resource type as sharded cluster)or MONGODB_REPLICASET_SERVER=(For resource type as replicaset)
b) OPLOG_PATH=(Optional parameter in case it is provided from MongoDB.propertiesfile)
c) MONGODB_AUTHENTICATION_TYPE= (PLAIN for LDAP Authentication and None for others)
5) Parameter needs to be provided in MongoDB.properties file:
i) DISABLE_STARTING_STOPPING_SERVICES=
a) N if start/stop services need to be taken care by plugin.
b) Y if start/stop services are taken care by user.
c) Optional parameter as default value is set to N.
ii) OPLOG_PATH_= (Optional parameter in case it is already provided as custom key-value pair in SnapCenter.
